Workshop on Evolutionary Algorithms for Problems with Uncertainty

16th July 2018

We have the pleasure of announcing the first Workshop on Evolutionary Algorithms for Problems with Uncertainty, to be held at GECCO 2018 in Kyoto, Japan.

Many real-world optimisation problems contain uncertainty, which can present itself in various forms. The purpose of this workshop is to bring together researchers in the evolutionary computation community who are increasingly interested in dealing with such problems and who acknowledge the growing need for new methods to tackle them.

Please follow the links above for more details, such as a detailed Call for Papers and list of important dates. Note that the submission process for workshops held as a part of GECCO will be handled differently to previous years. Submissions should be sent through the GECCO Submission Site and should not be sent directly to the organisers.

Submissions for the workshop are now closed.

This workshop is supported by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council, UK [grant numbers: EP/N017846/1, EP/N014391/1].
